Initially incorporated in 1964, Modernfold of Reading, Inc. has been

owned and operated by the current owners since 1980.

Our company specializes in the sales, installation, service, repairs, and maintenance of moveable walls and door systems.  Our brand of choice is Modernfold, Inc., but we will service any manufacturers products.  We have a huge inventory of parts for many makes and models.  If we don't have a part, we can probably make it.

We currently have four sales offices (Topton (2), Harrisburg, and Johnstown), and two installation facilities (Topton and Altoona).  See the contact page for more information.

To aid architects and designers, we offer free design services using AutoCAD.  We can print, email, and/or fax drawings.  We can also provide complete specifications for our products to include in your bid documents (MS Word or PDF format), saving you time so you get on with the million other things you have to work on.  Also, to help you with your specification writing, Modernfold, Inc. has a new program called SpecWizard.  Click  here to try it out.

We have a full time project manager and a full time service manager, so we are never late on a project.  We have never failed to complete any of our approximately 750 projects a year.

We are also very active in the following organizations: CSI, AIA, IFMA, PFDA, PSBA, and PASBO.
